Movie Ideas for Preschoolers

Posted on 05-01-2017

There are so many movies out there for your children to watch, but some movies are classics that every kid needs to see before growing up. Here are four movies that your preschooler is sure to love, and you will too!

The Lion King is great for preschoolers.

Watch as Simba fights against all odds to take his rightful place as king. He must choose between remaining an outcast with no worries, or facing his past, his uncle, and taking back his throne. Simba has friends that stick with him all along the way, keeping the journey fun with each twist and turn along the way.

Watch The Jungle Book with your child.

Mowgli is raised by a pack of wolves and becomes a man-cub when he is lost in a jungle far away from other humans. After 10 years, Mowgli is seen as a threat to the jungle, and his friends are on a mission to protect him from the jungle predators and deliver him safely to the closest village.

Preschoolers love Cinderella.

Following the death of her father, Cinderella is turned into a household servant. After she attends the Prince’s ball with the help of her fairy godmother, the Prince sets out on a search of the entire kingdom for her. The mice and farm animals keep her company as she does her chores without complaint, but when the shoe finally fits, she’s off to become Princess of the land.

The Fox and the Hound is a must for preschoolers to see.

The two unlikeliest of friends are childhood best friends, but their loyalty is tested when Copper the hound’s job is to hunt out his fox friend Todd. When childhood friends are forced to become enemies, will love win? Watch to find out!
